Findzy Privacy Policy                                                        Effective Date: 30th September 2025
 

At Findzy (“we,” “us,” or “our”), your privacy and trust are paramount. This Privacy 
Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information for all users of our 
platform, including individuals seeking services (“Users”) and customers listing their 
services (“Businesses” and “Individual Sellers”). This Policy complies with the UAE’s 
Personal Data Protection Law and all applicable UAE regulations.


By accessing or using Findzy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and 
accepted this Privacy Policy, and that you are of legal age and capacity under UAE 
law, or are using the Platform under appropriate legal guardianship and have agreed to 
its Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.


. 1. Customer Registration & Listing Policy
At Findzy, we welcome new customer registrations and are committed to providing a smooth and transparent onboarding process. To ensure eligibility and compliance, all applicants must complete the Application Form fully and accurately. Once verified, customers are provided with a dashboard that enables them to create and manage their listings.
Paid Services:

  • Listings: Customers pay per listing created or request a customized package. 

  • Listing Upgrades: Optional paid feature available for listings (not mandatory).

  • Business Badges: Optional paid feature available for Businesses to stand out (not mandatory).

  • Advertising Banners: Available on a paid basis, separate from business listing accounts. 

  • Trending on Findzy: Paid placement option displayed on the homepage (not available for services or experiences).

  • Featured on Findzy: Paid placement displayed at the top of each category page on the main header.


Non-Paid Services:

  • Challenges: Businesses can create challenges at no cost.

  • Events: Hosting events is available free of charge. 

  • Nominations: The Nominations feature is a free, community-driven nominating system that allows registered users to nominate for their favorite businesses that are listed with Findzy across different categories. Votes appear live in real time, with no moderation or interference from Findzy, ensuring a fair and transparent process that reflects genuine public preference. For businesses, Nominations offer a powerful way to understand how your brand resonates with the public and to celebrate recognition from real users. It’s an open, engaging way for people to show appreciation and for brands to gain organic visibility and trust within the community. Nominations Disclaimer:
    The insights and results displayed through the Nominations feature are based solely on user participation. They are not verified metrics or professional assessments. Users and businesses should not rely on these results as the basis for any financial, strategic, or operational decisions. Findzy is not responsible for any interpretation or use of the nomination data.

  • Insider Profile: A free profile feature designed to build connection and trust between businesses and users. It allows businesses to:

  1. Share their company description and story status.

  2. Post updates through images and videos

  3. Highlight their journey to share with their audience to improve visibility and brand identity. 


The Insider Profile’s purpose is to help users know more about your business and its 
brand story. It is a storytelling and transparency tool, not a direct advertising space for 
products or services, and may not be used to promote third-party offerings.


Request Submission Process

  • For Businesses (Advertisers):

Customers wishing to list on the platform must complete the Application Form accurately and honestly. Once approved, they will receive access to an account dashboard where they can create and manage their listings. Payment is required once a listing is finalized. For customized packages, advertisers may pre-select their preferred package and pay prior to gain access to the number of listings they have chosen and can use their specified listings accordingly.


Listings are auto-approved, as the responsibility to comply with UAE advertising norms 
and laws rests entirely with the advertiser. However, Findzy reserves the right to suspend 
or remove any advertisement that violates applicable regulations until the advertiser takes 
the necessary corrective action.

 

Businesses may post advertisements individually; once payment is made, each ad goes 
live. The dashboard allows advertisers to add and manage as many ads as they require.
Advertisers may request a custom number of listings by contacting us through the 
Customized package button on the Business Dashboard.

 

  • For Users (Viewers):

Users browsing advertisements may also create an account, which enables them to:

  1. Save favorite listings

  2. Receive notifications of updates

  3. Nominate preferred businesses as Business of the Month.

  4. Share ratings and reviews of their experiences

  5. Explore businesses featured on the platform

  6. Contact us with suggestions, feedback, or technical issues.

 

  • Verification of Requests:

All submissions are reviewed by our dedicated team to ensure compliance with the 
platform’s terms and applicable requirements.

 

  • Response Time:

We aim to respond to all requests as quickly as possible, and no later than three (3) 
business days from the date of submission.

 

  • Incomplete or Incorrect Requests:

If an application is incomplete or requires additional information, we will notify the 
applicant to provide the necessary details or documents.

 

  • Approval and Account Activation:

Once approved, the Business Dashboard will be activated, granting access to platform 
services through the Add listing option on their Dashboard. Once a listing is submitted to 
the platform, they can then purchase the specified listing. 

 

  • Listing Suspension:

If a listing is suspended, the applicant will be informed of the reason(s). They may amend 
their submission and reapply after resolving the identified issues the listing may be 
reinstated.


General Notes:
• We reserve the right to request any additional documents or information to verify a 
listing or the customer's identity and compliance with platform policies and the UAE 
Laws and regulations.
• Findzy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or decline any service request. This discretion will be exercised in accordance with applicable UAE laws and regulations, as well as the Platform’s Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, and established company policies, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• Findzy is not responsible for any delay in response resulting from the customer’s 
failure to provide required information promptly.
• Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of Findzy’s current Terms and Conditions, Community guidelines, and Policies.

2. Customer Support: Response Time and Communication

We value the trust you place in us and strive to handle all requests, reports, and 
concerns with the utmost seriousness and care in record time.
• Our customer support team commits to acknowledging your inquiries within a 
reasonable timeframe, typically within three (3) business days.
• Response times or issue resolution may vary depending on the complexity of the 
request, volume of inquiries at that time, weekends, public holidays, or circumstances 
beyond our control.
• In some cases, a full response or resolution may take up to thirty (30) business days.
• All stated timeframes are estimates and are not legally binding; support is provided 
on a best-efforts basis.
• Findzy and its operators shall not be held liable for any delays or outcomes arising from 
customer support communications, to the fullest extent permitted by UAE law. Nevertheless, we remain committed to providing the highest standard of service to our users.


3. Information We Collect:
We collect the data necessary to provide our services, ensure platform safety, and our best efforts to comply with UAE laws.


For All Users:

  • Full name, email address, and contact details, e.g., mobile number, (land line, if voluntarily provided)

  • IP address, device, and browser information through Cookies ( subject to Customer managing their Cookies)

  • Communications submitted via platform tools (Messages to Findzy on Contact Us, reports, ratings, nominations and reviews)

  • Participate in challenges, events and vote for their favorite business as per their voluntary desire based on their experience.

  • Support requests and correspondence via email or the platform correspondence section on Contact Us.


For Business Users (in addition):

  • Business legal name, category of business, business description, trade license details, and other regulatory licenses, documents and certificates, and their registration numbers, and or all verification documents required.

  • Login email, contact email, landline, mobile. 

  • Owner(s) and Signatory’s identification and Verification documents

  • Business category and description, logo, images, videos and description of products or services

  • Business address and other required submission details where required.

  • Agreement check boxes permissions, used as electronic signatures by UAE Law.


Payments:
We do not collect or store payment card details.
All financial transactions are securely processed through our authorized third-party providers and are subject to their 
terms and conditions. 


4. Purpose of Data Collection
We use data to:

  • Facilitate platform access and use of our Platform.

  • Verify and approve Businesses to ensure our best compliance with UAE laws

  • Comply with commercial and data protection regulations

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

  • Provide customer support and improve user experience

  • Manage, review reports, and content moderation

  • Retain records for legal compliance and business continuity (up to 1 year). We may retain some data for longer if required by applicable law or in case of legal disputes.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or deactivate accounts that violate our Terms of Use, 

  • Privacy Policy, Internal policies, Findzy Customer Agreements, or Community standards from our Community Guidelines.


5. Data Use, Sharing & Protection
At Findzy, we are committed to protecting your personal data with the highest standards of care and security, in full compliance with the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and applicable Laws and regulations.

  • Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who require such access to perform their required duties, under confidentiality obligations.

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

  • Your data is used solely for operational, compliance, support, and Findzy’s service improvement purposes.


Data Sharing - Limited, Controlled, and Legal
Your personal data may only be shared under the following restricted and legally compliant 
circumstances:

  • With UAE government authorities, regulators, or courts, when required by valid legal requests, judicial orders, or applicable law.

  • With trusted and verified third-party service providers, solely for purposes such as hosting, security, analytics, or secure payment processing, and only under data protection and confidentiality agreements.


Clarifications on Third-Party Use:

  • Payment Processing: Your payment information is handled exclusively by licensed, recognized third-party payment gateway providers. Findzy does not collect or store card data. 

  • Data Hosting: Your personal data is hosted securely on reputable cloud platforms that meet strict data protection and encryption standards. 

  • Data may be retained for a maximum of one (1) year after account closure or longer only if required by law or legal proceedings.

  • Platform Security: All third-party providers are vetted to ensure they comply with recognized data security frameworks.

  • Findzy also employs independent security measures, including access controls, encryption, monitoring, and regular audits to prevent unauthorized access or breaches.


Safeguards and Commitments:

  • Data is processed only in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Findzy’s Terms of Use and Community Standards.

  • We do not engage in data monetization, user profiling for advertising, or unnecessary data tracking.

  • We maintain an internal data protection protocol, ensuring accountability, transparency, and traceability of all data-handling activities.


By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree to this responsible use and limited, secure sharing of your personal data, in accordance with UAE law and our standards of digital safety.


6. Cross-Border Processing
To ensure the smooth operation of our Platform, some information may be handled by selected service providers in accordance with UAE data protection laws.
Any cross-border transfer will only be used in compliance with PDPL safeguards and approved jurisdictions.


Security Measures:
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, misuse, or loss.


7. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Improve Platform functionality.

  • Analyze usage trends anonymously.

  • Personalize user experience.


Users may adjust browser settings to manage Cookies; this may affect certain Platform features.


8. User Rights & Responsibilities
Your Rights:

  • Access, edit basic information, request to correct, or request deletion of personal data (subject to legal requirements)

  • Obtain a copy of your personal data when requested.

  • Report misuse of your data or content violations by providing us with verifiable proof (date and time, valid screenshots, and clear documentation and explanations).


Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Post genuine reviews reflecting real experiences

  • Safeguard login credentials (do not share or allow access to third parties) and use the Platform ethically.

9. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to:

  • Support account activity and platform operations

  • Comply with UAE commercial, tax, and data protection laws (up to 1 year)

  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security


Accounts and personal data will be deactivated or deleted upon verified request unless retention is required by law.


10. Minors (Under the Age of 21)
Findzy is not intended for individuals under the age of 21.

  • Minors are strictly prohibited from accessing or using the Platform or its services without the direct supervision and explicit consent of a legal parent or guardian who will be responsible for their transactions. The usage of the Platform by a minor will be considered under the legal parents’ or guardians’ authority and responsibility. 

  • The parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for any use of the Platform by the minor, including any communications, content interaction, or transactions conducted.

  • Findzy bears no legal, operational, or contractual responsibility for any direct or indirect use of the usage of the Platform by minors and works to protect the content on it’s platform to safeguard Minors, whether their usage of the Platform is authorized or unauthorized.

  • Findzy reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspending accounts or restricting access, if it becomes aware of minor users in violation of this policy or content that harms Minors on our Platform. 


Disclaimer: It is the sole responsibility of parents or legal guardians to ensure that Minors do not access or use the 
Platform unlawfully. Findzy shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from negligence, misuse, or failure 
to enforce this condition.


11. Content Moderation & Platform Integrity
To maintain a safe and trustworthy environment, Findzy may:
• Review, remove, or edit content that violates laws or policies if we have received a 
report or noticed unauthorized activity.
• Suspend, terminate, or deny access to accounts misusing the platform.
• Report serious violations to UAE authorities.


Important Clarification of Findzy’s Role:
Findzy is not a party to any transactions, communications, agreements, deliveries, or 
disputes between Users and Businesses.

  • We do not provide delivery, shipping, fulfillment, or after-sales services on behalf of the advertising businesses as we are a Platform space for Listings and not the advertiser or business listing’s partner or have any right to transact on their behalf regarding their entity, their product or service or any of their third parties.

  • Kindly reach out to the product or service provider for transactional concerns. 

  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, or outcome of any products or services advertised on the platform.

  • All responsibility for transactions, service provision, and fulfillment rests solely with the Businesses and Users involved.


By law, Findzy’s role is strictly limited to providing an online advertising and listing 
platform, for which Businesses pay a fee. Users and Businesses must perform their 
own due diligence before entering into any agreement or transaction. While Findzy is not 
responsible for transactions, product quality, service delivery, or outcomes between Users and Businesses, we are committed to verifying businesses and moderating our Platform, assisting with any issues related to the platform itself that may harm our users. This includes technical problems, account access, dashboard functionality, billing for listings or paid features, content or listing compliance, and reporting inappropriate or non-compliant advertisements. Users can report on a Report button available on Listings or via the Contact Us page, and our team will make reasonable efforts to respond and resolve platform-related concerns.


12. Communication & Support
All official support and communications occur via:
• Email: hub@findzy.ae
• Platform messaging system (for inquiries, reporting issues, or account requests)


External Communication Disclaimer:
If you contact Businesses outside the Platform (e.g., WhatsApp, Email or through 
phone call), you do so at your own discretion. Findzy bears no responsibility for such 
communications, as stated in Section 11.


13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the UAE, including PDPL.
Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai Courts, unless legally required otherwise.


14. In the Event of Service Discontinuation or Platform Termination
Findzy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, to suspend, discontinue, or 
permanently terminate some or all of its services, whether due to voluntary or 
compulsory liquidation, or for operational, regulatory, or legal reasons.


In the event that a decision is made to shut down or discontinue the platform:
• Findzy will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users and businesses in 
advance via email or in-platform notifications
• A structured termination plan will be activated, allowing users to access or export 
their data within a defined period prior to the official shutdown if they wish to by 
contacting us on our Contact Us page prior to the shut down date by 48 hours upon 
request.
• All contractual obligations of Findzy shall be considered terminated as of the 
effective shutdown date, unless otherwise required by applicable UAE laws
• Findzy shall not be liable to provide any compensation, refunds, or damages 
for service discontinuation, unless explicitly required by law or a binding 
contractual agreement


15. Force Majeure
Findzy shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or inability to perform its obligations under this Policy or the services provided, if such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, known as “Force Majeure” events.


Force Majeure events include, but are not limited to:
 Natural disasters (such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, fires).

  • Epidemics or public health emergencies.

  • Wars, armed conflicts,political or civil unrest.

  • Sudden governmental or legislative actions impacting operations.

  • Interruptions or disruptions in internet, telecommunications, or technical infrastructure.

  • Failures or malfunctions in systems or third-party services, including hosting providers, payment services, or other service providers.

  • Any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Findzy.


In the event of a Force Majeure:

  • Findzy’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration and direct or indirect impact of the event

  • Findzy will make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as the cause of the disruption is resolved 

  • Findzy shall not be held legally or financially liable for any damages or losses resulting from delays or interruptions caused by such events

  • If the Force Majeure event continues for a prolonged period, making it impractical to continue providing services, either party may terminate the agreement by notifying the other party without any liability for damages or penalties.


16. Policy Updates
Findzy may update this Privacy Policy at any time.
Continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms and conditions, community standards, and/or privacy policy.


17. Final Acknowledgement
By using Findzy, you confirm that you:
• Understand and accept this Privacy Policy, as well as the Terms and Conditions.
• Recognize your rights and responsibilities regarding personal data and adhere to 
Findzy’s Community Guidelines. 
• Acknowledge the limitations of Findzy’s role and responsibilities as set out in 
Section 11
• Agree to discontinue use if you do not accept this Privacy Policy and Terms and 
Conditions, and/or Community Guidelines.


18. Our Brand Commitment

At Findzy, we are built on transparency, integrity, and a commitment to fostering trust within our community. Our platform provides a space where users can discover listings, explore opportunities, and connect with businesses that match their needs.

While we focus on maintaining a professional and compliant environment, all content and listings are provided directly by users and businesses. Findzy does not participate in or oversee transactions between parties, but we continuously moderate listings to ensure they align with our platform standards and applicable UAE regulations.

Our goal is to create a trusted digital space that supports informed choices, promotes professionalism, and reflects the UAE’s forward-thinking spirit of innovation.
